Woman Admits To Stealing Mail

Lexington Police said a woman not only admitted to stealing peoples’ mail but she also ratted out her husband for the crimes.

Court documents said Catherine and Gary Hiles would take things out of mailboxes, then return them to stores to get gift cards.

Police said the couple then sold the gift cards to pawn shops for cash. In a separate case, Gary Hiles is accused of burglarizing a house on Stonewood Lane in Lexington.
