Woman Accused Of Selling Prescription Pills

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a complaint of a television theft from a motel room on KY 770, 12 miles south of London on Thursday evening.

Deputies said when they arrived on the scene, they determined a woman there had an outstanding warrant.

Upon further investigation, deputies determined the woman had prescription drugs that had been filled a day earlier.

Deputies said that 126 Roxicets and 49 Xanax pills were missing from the prescriptions.

Deputies said a large amount of money was also found during the investigation.

Deputies said witnesses told them that the woman had been selling the prescription pills to a number of people over the last 24-hours.

Deputies said the woman admitted that she had been selling pills to people.

Deputies said they arrested Rebecca L. Davis, 40, of Bradfordville.

Deputies said she was charged with 2 Counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense, and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, 1st Offense.
