Woman accused in Lexington double murder outside library due back in court Friday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A woman charged in connection with a double murder outside a Lexington library is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
According to court records, 69-year-old Deborah Weiss is due for another arraignment at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
Lexington police say Weiss is accused of shooting and killing two men near the Northside Library on Russell Cave Road back in August. The Fayette County Coroner identified the victims as 71-year-old Ashim Heanacho and 52-year-old Edward Parker.
Weiss was arrested and charged with two counts of murder following the shooting.
