Woman accidentally crashes car into Pineville Medical Clinic

PINEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman crashed her car into the front of Pineville Medical Clinic Wednesday morning.

Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation says the woman drove into its Pineville office at 8:20 a.m., only 10 minute before it was scheduled to open.

Investigators say no one was hurt.  Police say it appears she hit the gas instead of the brake.

According to officials, the crash caused a lot of structural damage and it will take several weeks to fix.

For the rest of the week, officials say the clinic will operate out of Harlan and Middlesboro clinic locations.

Starting Monday, the clinic will operate out of a temporary location at 302 Walnut Street, which isn’t far from the damaged clinic.
