Wolfe County Search and Rescue responds to hiker on Rock Bridge Trail
WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Search and rescue crews in Wolfe County spent Tuesday morning helping a hiker on the Rock Bridge Trail.
A post on the Wolfe County Search & Rescue Team Facebook page detailed the rescue from around 11:30 a.m. on July 27.
Wolfe County and Powell County search and rescue teams, Breathitt-Wolfe EMS INC. and Daniel Boone National Forest staff were dispatched to a hiker with an ankle fracture on the trail.

The hiker was found around half a mile in from the trail head. His ankle was splinted and he was packaged in a rescue litter to be carried out.
