Winning one-on-one’s

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Wednesday we mentioned the protection problems the UK offensive line had against Florida, and that with Missouri’s front line as talented as it is, Solid Blue fans should expect to see another tough Saturday in the trenches.

But what about the flip side?

How is Kentucky doing getting pressure and containing the opponent’s QB?

Not great considering the Gators Will Grier carved out 60 yards rushing.  Maty Mauk has hurt the Cats in the past.

Winning one-on-ones will be the focus this weekend on the defensive line.

Something UK did at times versus Florida…and even when the front line didn’t…they still made an impact.
