Windstream invests $2 million in high-speed internet infrastructure in Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Windstream has made a substantial investment in Kentucky to the tune of $2 million dollars.

Windstream is a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions.

The company will bring $2 million in high-speed Kinetic Internet services to Lexington, Ky. according to Phillip McAbee, area president of state operations at Windstream.

The investment will improve network speed to approximately 30,000 households in Lexington, which will bring the number of households using/receiving 50 Mbps or higher, to 80,000 households.
