Winchester Police Spring Break Food Drive nearing goal, donations still needed

WINCHESTER, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Winchester Police Department says its Spring Break Food Drive is going strong thanks to generous community donations.

Organizers say they are getting closer to their goal but still need items such as tuna salad kits, canned meals and pasta sides to help feed children while school is out.

Donations can be dropped off at the Winchester Police Department through March 15.

Officials say every contribution helps ensure children in Clark County have access to food during Spring Break.
