Winchester Police seek information from public as murder suspect faces additional charge

WINCHESTER, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Winchester Police are asking for the public’s help as their investigation into Brian Epperson continues.

In a statement, the department said it would like to speak with anyone who has had a personal relationship with Epperson, hired him as a contractor, or allowed him access to their home for maintenance within the past three years. Detectives say anyone willing to share information can contact Detective Sergeant Reed at mreed@winchesterky.com or call (859) 745-7418.

Epperson, 44, is already facing murder and drug charges in the death of 32-year-old Kristen Morris, who was found dead from an apparent overdose at an Airbnb in Stanton on June 27. That same day, police say Epperson became the primary suspect in the death of Reacheal Dawson, who was found dead in a Winchester hotel room.

In addition to those ongoing investigations, jail records show Epperson is now also charged with video voyeurism.

Winchester Police say they are continuing to work closely with Kentucky State Police as the cases develop.

ABC36 News Now will update this story as more information becomes available.
