Winchester police investigating apparent murder-suicide
WINCHESTER, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two people are dead after what Winchester police are calling an apparent murder-suicide following a suspected domestic dispute.
According to the Winchester Police Department, officers responded around 6:30 p.m. Friday to a home in the 100 block of West Side Drive after receiving reports that two people had been shot.
When officers arrived, they found 35-year-old Ava Brantley and 38-year-old Tyler Snowden dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates that Snowden shot and killed Brantley before turning the gun on himself, according to police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
