Winchester Man Shot Three Times Listed In Fair Condition

UK Hospital reports a Winchester man shot three time Thursday night is now listed in fair condition.

Ted Volkar is still at UK Hospital after police said he was shot in an attempted murder-suicide.

Investigators said Ted’s wife, Patricia Volkar, shot Ted and their home on Kittison Drive. They said Patricia then shot and killed herself.

Ted Volkar called 911 to report the shooting and was on the front lawn when police arrived.

He was airlifted to UK Hospital.
