Winchester man accused of taking a bat to three people
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Winchester man is charged following an attack involving a baseball bat that left three people injured.
According to the Winchester Sun, 27-year-old Florencio Alexander Espinoza beat the three people with a baseball bat because of a stolen backpack.
Espinoza was arrested Thursday morning and charged with second-degree assault.
The Winchester Sun reports two of the victims suffered broken arms in the attack.
According to the newspaper, Espinoza admitted to hitting the victims with a baseball bat, saying one of the victims stole a backpack from him and made a pass at his girlfriend.
