CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two Clark County dance teams are moving to the beat of victory.
Dance teams with Studio One took home big wins last weekend.
The team Total Power, a group of girls ages 10 to 13, captured the biggest prize, winning the National Champion Amateur Junior crown.
The team Lil’ Power, made up of girls ages 8 to 10, won the moving line title.
According to the coaches and staff at Studio One, the girls have danced together for more than three years and have become a close-knit team.
“I just love performing, I love seeing like..I love making people smile so I try to perform to the best of my ability to make people, um, just smile and make their day if I can at all,” said Total Power team member Brooke Gough.
“Every single time at practice we all have fun. Sometimes we goof around. Whenever we need to do our dance we get back on track and get it done, so,” added Lil’ Power team member Piper Marie Brock.
