Jessamine Co. teen charged in vehicle break-ins

WILMORE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Jessamine Co. Sheriff says that 19-year-old Samuel McKinley, of Wilmore, was charged early Monday morning, after deputies say he was caught breaking into vehicles on Cardinal Lane.

According to the Sheriff, McKinley was charged with receiving stolen property after investigators executed a search warrant at his home.

McKinley also faces a burglary charge from a home on Cardinal Lane, as well as pending charges of theft of a prescription drug, and possession of marijuana.

The Sheriff says several items that may have been stolen were located.  If anyone has anything missing and has not reported it, they are asked to contact the Jessamine Co. Sheriff’s Officer at (859) 885-4139.

McKinley was taken to the Jessamine Co. Detention Center.
