Williamsburg man arrested on manslaughter indictment; drugs found during arrest, deputies say
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Williamsburg man is in custody after a grand jury indicted him on a first-degree manslaughter charge connected to a 2024 incident, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Bryan Scott Masters around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at his home. According to the sheriff’s office, Masters was found hiding in a bathroom and resisted arrest before being taken into custody.
During the arrest, deputies said they also located two bags of suspected cocaine, a bag of suspected methamphetamine, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Masters was booked into the Marion County Detention Center on charges of first-degree manslaughter, resisting arrest, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation remains ongoing.
