Williamsburg firefighters witness exploding propane tank, fire destroys home
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A home in Williamsburg is a total loss after a massive fire late Thursday night that drew a large emergency response and triggered a preliminary arson investigation.
According to officials, crews were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. on U.S. 25 West. When firefighters arrived, they encountered heavy flames and several propane tanks exploding near the home.
Fire officials confirmed the structure was destroyed. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Officials have launched a preliminary arson investigation to determine how the fire started. The cause remains under review.
