Wild Turkey Visitors Center Wins Architecture Honor Award

The Wild Turkey Visitor Center has received the 2015 American Institute for Architecture Honor Award.

The center in Lawrenceburg had caught the eye of many architectural organizations since it opened last year.

It was previously featured in Architecture Magazine’s "Best of American Architecture."

The visitor center was designed by Kentucky-based DeLeon and Primmer Architecture Workshop.

The Wild Turkey Distillery has been on Wild Turkey Hill for more than a century.

It’s a big tourist attraction for bourbon lovers throughout the world.

It predicts it will host about 20 percent more guests in 2015 than it did in 2014.
