Wife Arrested After Man Shot In Mercer County
A Mercer county woman was arrested after deputies said she shot her husband.
Sandra Peavler, 41, was arrested on Monday.
The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a home on Cattlett Lane and found David Scott Peavler suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach and arm.
Deputies said Peavler told them he and his wife got into a verbal altercation and she shot him.
He was flown to the University of Kentucky hospital.
Sandra Peavler is charged with assault.
