Why is Albany game good for UK?
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky tips off the regular season Friday night at Rupp Arena.
UK plays host to Albany out of the American East conference.
It’s a great opener for both teams in Cal’s mind.
It’s great for the Great Danes because they want to play up in the non-conference to ensure another conference title and fourth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Their guard play, according to Cal, accounts for 60 percent of what they like to do to opponents so that’ll also be good for the Cats to see as well.
As for what Kentucky gets out of Friday night, hear from Cal on that in the video.
