Whitley County assisted in a swift water rescue

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Whitley County Sheriff’s Department says a man was rescued in a swift water rescue.

Saturday, deputies say the man was stranded near the 312 boat ramp and was hanging onto a tree trunk by the dam.

Deputies say they helped Laurel County first responders rescue a man whose boat overturned.
