Where does Ulis stand?

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Tyler Ulis has played really well of late.

So there’s some real validity to the national player of the year talk surrounding him…especially if the Cats can make a big push here late in the season.

The sophomore guard set a career high in points and assists in the win over South Carolina, 27 and 12 respectively.

He was in charge of the offense too.

Cal has joked before about Ulis being the new head coach of the Cats, and Kenny Payne let him at least be the offensive coordinator.

For Ulis, it seemed to be a pretty good call.
