Westboro plans protest against Kim Davis
ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A hate group says it will be in Kentucky to protest Rowan County clerk Kim Davis.
The Westboro Baptist Church, known for protesting at funerals for soldiers claiming it’s God’s punishment for America’s acceptance of homosexuality, says it would be protesting in front of the Rowan County Clerk’s Cffice at 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Davis gained national attention for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, citing her religious beliefs.
In a post on Twitter, the Westboro Baptist Church calls Davis a “fake Christian’ and “a self-righteous hypocrite”.
The church accuses Davis of being an adulterer for disobeying the word of God because she got married four times.
