“We came to work.”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The first two games of the season were a little rough for the football Cats.

They’d do anything to get that Southern Miss game back and close out in the second half.

But maybe the beatdown UK took in The Swamp was just what the Cats needed.

Losing 45-7 when you’re supposedly making progress isn’t a good sign.  Since then, Kentucky has looked improved.  The Cats have been able to shake off the bad thrown their way since the trip to Gainesville.

It’s a new outlook.  One that focuses on the future instead of the past.  The coaching staff is hammering home the basics…and pushing the players to be better.

That’s what will propel UK.

Hear from UK offensive coordinator, Eddie Gran, in the video.
