Water line break leaves people without water in Floyd Co.

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Some people don’t have water in Floyd County because of a water line break under a creek, which is challenging for repair crews.

Water district officials say they hope to have the water back on by late Thursday.

The Southern Water District says 50 customers in Lackey and Wayland are affected by the outage.

The county has bottled water available for affected customers at the Wayland Fire Department.
