Watch for slick spots on morning commute
(LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Cold weather and slick spots are impacting Lexington roads Tuesday morning.
State and local road crews began treating the roads Monday, remained on duty overnight and will continue throughout the day.
They are treating the roads as needed, which means spot treating in some areas, and plowing and treating for others. In some areas, crews are simply patrolling and keeping an eye on road conditions.
Many of the roads are wet but because of the colder temperatures, but expect to encounter some slick spots on your morning commute.
