Warren County man arrested on child exploitation charges

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WTVQ) — Kentucky State Police say they took a Warren County man into custody for child exploitation.

State police say they discovered 32-year-old Christopher “Brandon” Petty was trying to communicate online with someone he thought was a juvenile.

It turned out to be an undercover officer with Internet Crimes Against Children.

Police say they went to his home in Bowling Green on Monday and seized a computer and other equipment and took it KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.

Petty is currently charged with one count of prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor/ peace officer regarding sex offense.

KSP says the investigation is ongoing.
