Warren Co. man charged with child sexual exploitation offenses
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WTVQ) —Kentucky State Police with the Electronic Crime Branch say they arrested 39-year-old Christopher P. Stinett on Monday, saying he used an electronic device in an attempt to procure a minor for sex.
Troopers say they began an undercover investigation on Stinett after he was discovered responding to an online ad on a website. Police say Stinett went to a hotel in Bowling Green with plans to engage in sex acts with a minor.
A search warrant was executed on Stinett’s vehicle on Monday, at about 4:45 p.m., where equipment was seized and sent for a forensic examination.
Stinnett is currently charged with one count of prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor for sex offenses.
He was taken to the Warren County Detention Center.
