Warrants issued for church theft suspects

WHITLEY Co., Ky. (WTVQ) — Thanks to tips provided by the public, Authorities at the Whitley County Sheriff’s department have identified suspects involved in thefts from a church parking lot.

Security cameras captured the two men targeting cars parked at Goldbug Baptist Church.

Arrest warrants have been issued for 35-year-old Joshua Buchanan and William North. The Sheriff’s office reports both men already have warrants out for their arrest from another investigation.

According to police, Buchanan and North were last known to reside in Pineville, KY and may be driving a dark blue, 2000 Chevy Minivan.
