Warrant for Lexington woman leads to three arrests

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says serving a parole violation warrant on a Lexington woman led to the arrest of her and two other people outside of London on Tuesday.

Investigators say when they went to a home off Bill subdivision Road, just west of London, to serve a parole violation warrant on 41-year old Deanna Morgan of Lexington, two men ran from the scene.

Deputies say those two men, 39-year old William Botner of London and 27-year old Jonathan Segraves of London, were arrested on drug charges.  Deputies say Morgan was arrested on the parole violation warrant.  All three people were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Investigators say Botner was charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Deputies say Segraves was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, First Offense Methamphetamine.  Investigators say Segraves had a bag of crystal meth in his possession.
