War medals, oxygen tanks, more stolen from Vietnam veteran’s Harlan Co. home

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) — A Vietnam veteran’s home in Harlan County was burglarized this week and Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect(s).

On Wednesday, Kentucky State Police were called about a burglary at a home on Spencer Road in Clover Lick.

Trooper Brandon Peirson says the home’s back door was broken into and items taken from the home include war medals, oxygen tanks, electric drills, a TV and a cell phone.

The homeowner is a Vietnam veteran currently in a nursing home.
