Wanted fugitive captured in Scott County
GEORGETOWN, Ky. — Nathan Ginter, a fugitive from South Carolina, is now booked at the Scott County Detention Center following an intensive manhunt last week. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office reported that Ginter was arrested around midnight on Saturday morning in Georgetown after a tip-off about a suspicious person.
Ginter was apprehended along with his alleged accomplice, Riley Pearson, in the Cynthiana Road area. During the arrest, deputies recovered two handguns, two rifles, sixteen fake ID cards, and more than $60,000 in cash.
As we reported, Ginter was wanted by U.S. Marshals for failing to appear at his trial after being convicted of torturing his child with a taser and waterboarding.
