Voting is underway across Ky. Here’s how to find your polling place
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Voting is now underway across the Commonwealth until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
If you didn’t take advantage of early voting, you can still cast your choices today.
Here’s how to find your polling location.
First, figure out your precinct
To figure out your precinct, head to the Kentucky State Board of Elections website at vrws.sos.ky.gov/VIC/ and enter your first name, last name and date of birth.
From there, a list of your personal voter information will appear.
The list will show your name, your address, your city and your political affiliation.
The list will also have your House, Senate and Congressional districts, along with your precinct number.
You’ll need to remember that number.
Second, find your polling location
To figure out your polling location, head to the State Board of Elections website at elect.ky.gov/Voters/Pages/Polling-Locations.aspx and scroll down the list of counties until you find your county.
Once you find your county, find the Election Day polling location that coincides with the precinct number.
Third, go vote!
Once you have your voting location figured out, you can head to that place to vote today, anytime between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
And remember, if you’re in line at 6 p.m., you can stay in line and still cast your vote.
