Voters line up early at election polls
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington voters packed the polls this morning for today’s election. Many voters that came out are voting for more than just candidates of choice, most are voting for change.
Earlier this morning, voters lined up at St. Luke United Methodist Church for early voting opportunities.
It was a huge turnout for voters here in Lexington to cast ballots for changes in the community.
Lexington resident and voter Vidal Rivera mentioned his concerns about education and the way students are being taught by instructors.
” I think our education system will go down if it’s internet based,” said Rivera.” Basically, most of our students today are not getting the interaction they need and most of society dabbles on that interaction.”
This year’s 2018 Kentucky election features two prominent candidates, Republican incumbent U.S. Congressman Andy Barr, and former U.S. Marine fighter pilot and Democrat Amy McGrath.
