Volunteers to count homeless in LexCount 2025
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Volunteers are heading out across Lexington Wednesday night for the city’s annual Lex-Count, an initiative aimed at assessing the number of people experiencing homelessness.
According to city officials, teams of volunteers will visit dozens of outdoor sites throughout the community to count individuals without shelter. In addition to gathering data, volunteers will distribute care packages to those in need.
