Vince Gill concert to benefit Bluegrass museum in Owensboro

OWENSBORO, Ky. (AP) — A concert with country music star Vince Gill in Owensboro will benefit the International Bluegrass Music Museum.

The 2015 Mayor’s Gala will be April 17 at the Owensboro Convention Center.

A release from the city of Owensboro says after the opening of the convention center last year there was interest in continuing the tradition of a formal gala event.

The event will feature food from more than 14 themed food stations and cash bars. Tickets are $75 per person. It is produced by the city, Gulfstream Commercial Services and Envision Contractors.
