Vigil planned for little boy found dead in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Community members in Jackson County are preparing to gather to honor a little boy found dead last week.

They plan to hold a vigil Saturday at 8 p.m. at Bond Memorial park in McKee.

Police say Lonnie Belt kidnapped 5-year-old James Spoonamore and his mother, Jessica Durham.

Officers say Belt pushed Durham off a cliff, sending her to the hospital.

Days later, someone found Spoonamore’s body nearby.
