Vigil planned in honor of teens killed in Winchester shooting

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A vigil is planned for two teenagers that were shot and killed in Winchester Tuesday night.

16-year-olds Adriana Castro and Kayla Sue Holland were shot at the Washington Street Apartments.

Court documents say there was an argument in the parking lot, which led to gunfire.

Darian Skinner, 22, Denzel Hill, 24, Mikaela Buford, 18, and Ronnie Ellis, 18, are now facing murder charges.

Buford’s arrest citation says she drove the gunmen to the apartments.

After shots were fired — Investigators say Buford drove one of the suspects away from the scene in a ‘get-a-way car’.

On Wednesday — Skinner, Hill, Buford and Ellis pleaded ‘not guilty’ in court.

Bond is set at $1 million for four suspects.

Thursdays vigil will is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Winchester courthouse.
