Vietnam veteran’s appearance postponed in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — An event in Louisville featuring an Army veteran who returned to Vietnam to deal with his memories 40 years after serving there will be rescheduled because of the winter storm.
Nashville, Tennessee-based nature photographer Michael Moryc (MOR’-ihk) was scheduled to be at the University of Louisville Tuesday, but the program will be rescheduled.
Moryc arrived in Vietnam at the age of 20 in 1968.
Decades later, he returned to the country with friend David Horvath of Louisville and documented the visit with photography.
