Victim of deadly crash in Lincoln County identified
LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lincoln County Coroner has identified the man killed in a crash Friday.
He is 40-year-old Trampus Jennings.
According to the Coroner, police and witnesses say Jennings was pulling into the intersection of US 27 and Kentucky 328 when he didn’t stop at a stop sign and drove into the path of a large tanker.
The Coroner says he and a passenger were ejected from the car.
Witnesses told the Coroner they saw him moving on the road, when a white SUV hit him and kept driving.
Police are looking for that SUV.
The Coroner says an autopsy Sunday morning in Frankfort will give him more information about how Jennings died.
