Victim in deadly crash in Russell County identified
JAMESTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities have identified a driver killed a a single-vehicle crash over the weekend in Russell County.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old Jimmy Hughes, of Columbia, lost control of his Jeep Liberty, crossed the center median, went through a guardrail then overturned on Cumberland Parkway just before 9 p.m. Sunday.
The Russell County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
