Veterans Day Events

CENTRAL Ky. (WTVQ) – There are several events going on in honor of Veterans Day.

– Veterans Day Memorial Service at Veterans Park in Lexington at 10 a.m.

– Veterans Day parade in Wilmore at 10 a.m. The parade route runs up East Main Street.

– Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at Camp Nelson Cemetery in Nicholasville

– A wreath will be placed at the foot of the Veterans Memorial statue in Phoenix Park in Lexington at 11 a.m.

– U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell will speak at the dedication of the Fallen Heroes Sculpture at Veteran’s Park in Shelbyville at 11 a.m.
– McConnell will present a speech at the Transylvania University Carrick Theater in Lexington at 3 p.m..
