Veteran gifted a new roof

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Lexington veteran has a new roof, thanks to the Owens Corning Roof Development Project. U.S. Army veteran Latonya Bartholomew was the grateful recipient of this generous gift, made possible through a partnership with Purple Heart Homes.

Bartholomew was selected for the roof replacement, an opportunity she says was completely unexpected.

“Well, it was definitely unexpected. We had noticed some water leaking in and made some phone calls. My mom started calling around, and thankfully, we came across Bone Dry,” Bartholomew shared.

The roof installation began early Monday morning.
