Versailles Mayor Fred Siegelman Resigns

The Lexington Herald-Leader says he’s quitting to become head of Kentucky Correctional Indusrtries.

It’s the program that oversees prisoners’ work making furniture, clothing, and other products.

Siegelman has been Versailles’ Mayor since 1999.
