Versailles’ Boyd Orchard sold

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – Boyd Orchards in Versailles has been sold to an Illinois-based operation, according to the business journal Business Lexington.

The magazine says the popular, 60-acre orchard orchard was purchased by Eckert’s, their first acquisition in the Bluegrass.

Eckert’s operates farms and farmers markets in Missouri and Illinois.
