Versailles Baptist Church to be Recognized for Mission Gifts

LOUISVILLE – Versailles Baptist Church will be recognized at the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s annual meeting in November for surpassing a $3 million milestone in financial gifts for missions.

The money was given through the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program, which supports missionaries around the world.

“This truly is a remarkable milestone that reflects the generosity of the members at Versailles and their dedication to share the gospel in a lost and dying world,” said KBC Executive Director Paul Chitwood.

“These funds have been used to support missionaries and mission work here in Kentucky, across North America and literally around the world.”

Versailles will be receive an award at the KBC’s annual meeting in Florence on Nov. 15.
