Two hospitalized after late-night crash on I-75 in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Two people were taken to the hospital following a late-night crash on Interstate 75 in Lexington.

Police say officers were called around 10:51 p.m. to I-75 southbound near mile marker 114 for a collision involving two vehicles.

According to officials, one of the vehicles flipped into a ditch during the crash. Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash forced the closure of two southbound lanes for a time while crews worked the scene. The roadway has since reopened.

The cause of the crash has not been released.
