Vehicle crashes into Georgetown orthodontics office, one person injured
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a building in Georgetown late Thursday morning.
According to Georgetown police, officers were called around 10:30 a.m. to the GLO Orthodontics building after a vehicle drove into the structure.
Police say one person was injured after becoming pinned between the car and the building. That person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A bystander helped free the injured person before crews arrived.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, and police say everyone inside the building was able to get out safely without injuries.
Police say no charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
