Valley View Ferry closed due to high water
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- According to Lexington’s Traffic Management Center, the Valley View Ferry is closed until further notice because of high water conditions.
The ferry closed at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 13th.
The Traffic Management Center says it will send another update when the ferry is open again.
The ferry connects Fayette, Jessamine, and Madison Counties.
While the ferry is closed, you can go between Nicholasville and Richmond using US-27S to Lancaster in Garrard County, then KY-52E to Richmond. Use I-75 to get between Lexington and Richmond.
