Utility pole back up, street reopened in Scott County
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Scott County power line is back up and running after nearly a day of repairs.
The state says a car crashed and took out a utility pole on Kentucky 227 between Stamping Ground and Georgetown around 5 a.m. Saturday.
There weren’t any injuries, according to first responders.
The road was blocked because of it for almost 24 hours while crews waited for various technicians to help get it back up and running.
The road cleared around four in the morning Sunday.
