USPS to host job fair in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – The United States Postal Service is looking to fill 25 city carrier assistant positions in the Lexington area.

The position offers $18.51 pay per hour with health benefits, six paid federal holidays and earned vacation time. For military veterans who are considering the job, they can also receive Wounded Warrior Leave if they qualify through the Veterans Administration.

The job fair will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Beaumont Station Post Office at 1025 Majestic Drive. At the event, applicants can ask about and receive guidance on applying online for available jobs with the Postal Service.
